This camera has been developed as a video pointer to allow items of interest in an aquarium to be highlighted to visitors during demonstrations. Public Aquaria and Zoos can use the camera in touch pools or rock pools to educate and enhance the experience for visitors.

Corals, anemones, crustaceans, fish etc can be viewed in close up detail and the fully automatic lens will maintain pin sharp focus right up to a few centimetres from the viewport.

See detail on screen better than the naked eye!

Being only 58mm in diameter the camera fits comfortably into the hand and a small notch machined into the upper surface fits naturally under the thumb to indicate top for picture alignment without having to look at the screen.

Seaspy HH-AF1 Hand Held Underwater Camera

Camera operation is from a safe low voltage dc supply and power requirements are small enough to allow operation from a battery pack if preferred.

The camera is supplied complete with short underwater cable and a small junction box for connection of the power supply and coaxial lead to the video monitor. All external parts have a hard black anodised finish for intermittent service in seawater and the only maintenance required is to wash in fresh water at the end of each day.

Seaspy DHC-4 - Divers Helmet Camera

Manufactured primarily for the commercial diving industry, this low light colour camera has been designed to provide the best possible image in a rugged and reliable Titanium housing suitable for mounting to a divers helmet or pistol grip.

The camera uses digital signal processing to produce a clear image with good colour balance and its extreme low light performance coupled with an automatic iris lens allows it to operate over extremes of light levels including the observation of welding and burning.

Adjustment points inside the housing allow the camera to be set up for use with coaxial or twisted pair cables up to 1000 metres long (3280ft) and Video outputs are fully protected against damage from line transients.

A voltage regulator with reverse polarity protection is provided to allow the camera to operate from supplies
ranging from 15 to 30 volts dc.
The LPIL4MP connector on a short cable tail, is moulded to a right angle penetrator on the camera end cap for maximum durability and minimum wastage of space on a divers helmet. Other underwater connectors can be fitted on request to ensure compatibility with other equipment.

In recognition of the harsh environment that the camera is designed to work in, many parts have been made field replaceable including the pressure window and penetrator assembly.

The new Guardian UVL-2 Titanium underwater video light has been specially designed to complement Submertec Seaspy underwater cameras.

Manufactured for general purpose underwater use, this camera has been designed to provide high performance at an economic price by eliminating features that are often not required. Its small size and rugged design makes the ECC-1 ideal for use in many situations including divers helmet cameras, underwater vehicles and manipulators.

The camera offers very high image resolution and its exceptional low light performance will often provide a good image in ambient light without the need for artificial lighting. An adjustment point inside the housing allows the video level to be set up for use with coaxial cables up to 500 metres (1600 feet) long. A voltage regulator with reverse polarity protection is provided to allow the camera to operate from supplies ranging from 13 to 30 volts dc.
