Guardian video lights have been developed to complement Submertec Seaspy underwater video systems by providing the wide and even illumination that is required for professional inspection work. 12 or 24 volt Halogen lamps of up to 100 Watts may be fitted and the highly efficient, built in reflector makes maximum use of the power available by avoiding illumination "hot spots"without the need for a frosted lens.

When fitted with lamps up to 20 Watts, this light can be used for surveys above or below water with no damage to the Quartz lens even after plunging in and out of water while hot.

Machined from solid Titanium, this light is resistant to corrosion even during long term immersion in sea water and can withstand the constant abrasion and impacts that are part of daily life in the underwater industry.

A universal lamp base that accepts both G6.35 and GY6.35 base Halogen capsule lamps has been incorporated to ensure replacement lamps are readily available anywhere in the World. Access to the lamp for replacement is simply a matter of unscrewing the front of the light by hand which can then be removed complete with lens. The sealing O-ring is held captive in a shaped groove to avoid displacement and accidental damage.

Although designed primarily for use where space is at a premium such as divers helmets, the versatility of this light allows it to be used in applications as diverse as architectural fountain displays, public aquariums and submarine auxiliary lighting.

To ensure compatibility with existing equipment, UVL-2 lights can be supplied with a variety of underwater connectors or moulded cables.
